Some call it Life on The Other Side – the other side of Puget Sound from Seattle. With rainfall running between 15 and 300+ inches per year, some of us encourage the rumor and keep the secret of places like Sequim that are known for being “The Blue Hole,” where there is so much sunshine.

There’s a lot to enjoy beyond the mountains, rivers, coastal seashore and forest. We’re home to the Olympic National Rainforest and we love festivals, and tourists. Steeped in history from Indian heritage through forts to protect the Sound and a Victorian seaport, and livelihoods in forestry and fishing, we mix a love of old while embracing the new.

This is our tribute to a beautiful place to live and visit.
